about the picture
Lesson one of a course on holding the model while an AI does the work. The tub is Donella Meadows’s (Thinking in Systems, 2008): a stock is anything that accumulates, it changes only through its flows, and a feedback loop is a flow that the stock itself controls: balancing when it seeks a level, reinforcing when more makes more. The two questions are not a quiz. Committing to an answer before the drawing resolves is what makes the drawing stick; watching alone does not.
